Feeding Pigeons - Thorsten Dennerline

11 x 10 x 1 inches. A book of lithographs with a poem by Egil Dennerline. This book was bound in an edition of 11 and was printed on hand made paper from katran handmades. The sewing is a combination of a "raised cords" binding and a "coptic stitch" binding. Feeding Pigeons is a collaborative project which is intended to experiment with the relationship between text and image. Titled with a recessed lithograph. The artist and writer worked simultaneously at different locations within an agreed upon format. This allowed for a spontaneous approach to the creation of the work as the the artist and writer didn't know exactly what the other would do.
